• Complex formulas still lack basic features like proper date math

Pricing: Free vs Plus vs Business

The Free plan is enough for most solo users. The Plus plan ($10/month) adds unlimited file uploads and 30-day version history — worth it if you store media. The Business plan ($15/user/month) makes sense for teams of 5+.

My take: Start free. Upgrade to Plus only when you hit the file upload limit or need longer version history. Skip Business until you have a real team.

Final Verdict

Notion is still the best all-in-one workspace for engineers and creators in 2026. The AI features aren't best-in-class, but the core product — notes + databases + project management in one place — remains unmatched. I use it every single day.
